Healthy Eats Passport competition
For Life Education Queensland, 2021
The aim of this project was to digitise and streamline a primary school nutrition competition, the problem was that teachers weren't able to easily collect the data (fruit and vegetable consumption of primary aged students) to send it to Life Education.
I was part of a team where I predominantly created prototypes, created surveys, conducted interviews and collated key insights from our range of research methods.
We were trusted by Life Education to add Gamificiation features to the pitched final product, which was received really well by the CEO of Life Ed QLD!
Website Rebrand
For Orchid Business Systems, 2020
Orchid Business Systems is a business intelligence software developing company. I was responsible for creating the drawings for the updated website. I hadn't done drawings specifically for web, so learning about exporting in specific formats and sizes was interesting. I also learnt to work with a team in another country which was a terrific learning experience.
I worked closely with the web development team at Communica NZ, where time differences and an ocean didn't stop us from making a modern, and sleek looking site.
For Fun's Sake: Company Ideation Competition
For Fun-Lab, 2019
For Fun's Sake: Company-Wide Ideas Competition
For Fun-Lab, 2019
I worked at a a mini golf and drinking venue in Sydney's Inner West. I saw a poster saying there were hosting an 'ideas competition' where the top participants/presenters would pitch in Melbourne to the CEO of the company, and then the winning ideas from there would be implemented!
Being selected for the trip to Melbourne as a finalist for my maze themed bar, 'Maisie's' sort of cemented my feeling that I really loved being involved with whatever was at the forefront of whichever industry I worked in, whether it be retail, hospo or other. I was never very confident presenting, I still get super nervous and visciously drink water, but being chosen for something as competitive as this proved to me that I did have the temperament to pitch ideas confidently.

How do I go about my UX Design Process?
What I find really interesting about any design process is that they can be changed at any given second based on the client, project and team needs. So take these next points as a 'rough process' which I follow, however can easily change at any time.
This is just my thought process that makes it easier for me to digest a complex problem!
