PowerPoint Parties
Formed as a way to make socialising more educational and efficient, PowerPoint Parties started as somewhat of a small internet trend. I leveraged the idea, and have now hosted about 6 PowerPoint Parties, with 3 of those being ticketed events. The creation of this style of event, thrives on being collaborative and community driven. Joining the University of Technology Sydney's start up space has allowed for further collaboration and development of the social methodology.

Children's Nutritional Health (QLD Gov)
Working on the "Healthy Eats" program for the Queensland Government was a rewarding and fulfilling experience. As a team member, my role involved prototyping a mobile/tablet based app aimed at promoting healthy eating habits for children. We designed interactive and engaging content that included games and challenges to encourage kids to learn about healthy eating. The program also involved collaborating with schools, community groups, and health professionals to promote the initiative and provide resources to help families make healthy food choices.

The focus was on redesigning the job search experience to improve user engagement and satisfaction. We conducted research to understand the challenges faced by users when searching for jobs on the platform. We found that generally people found LinkedIn dull and hard to engage with jobs that were far outside their current job space. The new design was tested with users, and the results showed a significant increase in user engagement and satisfaction. Overall, the new prototype highlighted the importance of engaging with new disciplines and job spaces when engaging with the job search.
